Why Partner or Sponsor

BYSA

We empower young people to unlock their potential, protect their environment, and promote equality — one community at a time.

1. Proven Grassroots Impact

BYSA delivers real, measurable change at the community level. From empowering over 1,000 youth annually through sports and mentorship to planting 1 million trees and supporting 10,000 girls with menstrual dignity, our programs create lasting transformation where it’s needed most.

2. Accountability and Transparency

As a registered community-based organization, BYSA operates with clear structures, open reporting, and strong community oversight. Every partnership is managed professionally — with progress updates, financial accountability, and impact documentation for sponsors and donors.

3. Sustainable and Inclusive Approach

BYSA combines youth empowerment, environmental conservation, and women’s inclusion into one holistic model. Partners not only support programs — they invest in a movement that builds leaders, protects nature, and uplifts families for generations to come.

Want ToJoin a BYSA Program

At Brian Youth Strength in Action (BYSA), we welcome passionate young people, girls, and women who want to grow, learn, and make a difference.
Whether you’re a talented youth seeking mentorship, a student eager to join our sports academy, or a widowed woman looking for empowerment opportunities — joining BYSA is simple and transparent.

Step 1: Expression of Interest

Interested individuals fill out an Expression of Interest Form either online or at our community office in Budalang’i. This helps BYSA understand your background, interests, and the program you wish to join — whether in sports, mentorship, environment, or women empowerment.

Step 2: Orientation & Introductiion

After registration, participants are invited for a short orientation session to learn about BYSA’s mission, goals, and program expectations. This step helps new members understand how their involvement contributes to personal growth and positive community change.

Step 3: Enrollment & Verification

Qualified applicants complete a simple enrollment process, which includes filling out forms and verifying personal details. For youths, a school or community reference may be required, while widowed women may provide basic identification for record keeping.

Step 4: Program Placement

Once verified, participants are placed in programs that match their interests and strengths. Youths join sports or mentorship groups, girls enter empowerment or leadership clubs, and widowed women begin training in business, crafts, or agribusiness.

Step 5: Active Participation

Participants then take part in training, mentorship, or practical activities under close guidance from BYSA coordinators. Attendance, progress, and engagement are monitored to ensure everyone benefits fully from their chosen program.

Step 6: Graduation & Ambassadorship

Upon completion, participants receive certificates and are encouraged to become BYSA Ambassadors within their communities. Graduates continue inspiring others through mentorship, leadership, and ongoing involvement in BYSA activities.

Feedback From Key Stakeholders

Customer Support

“Joining BYSA completely changed my life. I started as a shy football player with no clear direction, but through their mentorship and training, I gained confidence, discipline, and leadership skills. Today, I mentor younger players in my village and inspire them to stay in school. BYSA gave me more than just sports — it gave me purpose.”

Kevin odhiambo Youth Beneficiary (Football Academy Program)

“BYSA has become a pillar of hope in Budalang’i. Their programs for youth, girls, and widowed women have brought unity, discipline, and progress to our community. The tree planting and environmental work have transformed our schools and public spaces. They are not just an organization — they are a movement for change.”

Hon. Mary Atieno Community Elder and Local Administrator, Busia County
