Youth Empowerment Through Sports
Turning Passion into Purpose, and Strength into Leadership
At Brian Youth Strength in Action (BYSA), we believe that sports can do more than entertain — it can educate, unite, and transform. Our Youth Empowerment Through Sports program gives young people the tools, guidance, and opportunities to grow into disciplined, confident, and community-minded leaders.
About the Program
Empowering Youth • Nurturing Talent • Building Champions
The Youth Empowerment Through Sports initiative was created to support boys and girls aged 10–22 across Busia and Budalang’i. Through structured coaching, mentorship, and life-skills training, we transform raw talent into ability and potential into success.
We use football and other sports as platforms to instill discipline, teamwork, equality, and leadership — empowering young people to stay in school, make positive life choices, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Program Components
🏆 1. Youth Football Academy
BYSA runs regular training sessions led by experienced coaches who guide participants in technical skills, discipline, and teamwork. Tournaments and friendly matches provide exposure and build confidence among young players.
🌟 2. Talent Identification & Exposure
We connect outstanding youth to scouts, professional clubs, and sponsors who can help them advance their sports careers. This exposure opens doors for scholarships and professional growth.
💬 3. Mentorship & Life Skills Training
Beyond the field, youth receive mentorship on leadership, education, health, and social values — helping them make responsible choices and set achievable goals.
🕊️ 4. Community Engagement & Peace Tournaments
We organize local sports festivals and peace tournaments that unite communities, reduce youth idleness, and promote coexistence through friendly competition.
The journey of typesetting began with an unknown printer who took a galley of type and transformed it into a type specimen book. This innovation not only spans five centuries.
Why It Matters
Sports is a universal language that breaks barriers and builds bridges.
Through this program, BYSA addresses challenges such as unemployment, school dropout, and social exclusion by providing youth with a positive, structured outlet. Every training session is a step toward discipline, hope, and opportunity.
